Oval Village Update: Oval Works

designs for Oval Works, the NEW office space in Oval Village, have now been revealed.

Oval Works is a 100,000 sq ft office building designed to buzz with community life and be a welcoming and flexible workplace for Lambeth’s small businesses and entrepreneurs.

The ground floor will be designed for co-working; a place where start-ups and entrepreneurs can mix and meet, whilst the floors above will provide flexible office space for hundreds of workers. The space will be dedicated to service businesses, community enterprises and small businesses which make and sell products.

At the heart of Oval Works will be a café and a community centre, ‘The Engine Room’ which will help draw in people from the local area. This will be a place where local businesses, products and ideas can come together in an inspiring workspace. As part of the design, the sixth floor of the building will benefit from a private wraparound garden terrace with views over the city and Oval cricket ground.

Forming part of Berkeley Homes’ Oval Village development on Kennington Lane, the design of Oval Works incorporates a modern, fluid work-life balance into the development, which includes 24-hour concierge, gym and pool.
